@sarahmirk about a new development for Portland, Oregon buses. Obviously this doesn’t have much value for Missourians, but it should be noted that Donnybrook panelist Ray Hartmann seemed to suggest that St. Louis should emulate Portland.

@chadlivengood making a prediction about Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder’s political future.
I didn’t know whether the former Missouri political reporter was serious, so I asked whether he was joking. In two separate Tweets, he said: “This could be political genius or suicide. Snyder’s basically saying if you want to live in Michigan, you have to pay for it. A state worker could look at it this way: have a job now & pension taxed later or lose job now & get smaller pension later.”
To which I replied: “You know, that deal where you can buy two miles of Detroit for a bag of lentils is pretty tempting…”
