I am now working full-time as a staff member for the St. Louis Beacon. Consequently, this blog will no longer be updated.
I fully encourage anybody who was still coming to this barely-updated site to check out the Beacon at stlbeacon.org. Thanks for stopping by for the past year or so!
Here’s a video of St. Louis County Councilwoman Colleen Wasinger, R-Town and Country, discussing why she voted against a bill allocating $3 million to a group angling to cement a international trade hub at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport.
Here’s a video I shot of U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Missouri, discussing the possibility of a farm bill passing before the end of the election cycle.
This was footage I shot the day after the Illinois primary. Jason Plummer won the contest over Rodger Cook and Theresa Kormos. The battle between Plummer and Cook became pretty nasty at times, hence the reason why Cook didn’t directly mention Plummer in his remarks.
Another old [perhaps outdated] video of former New Hampshire Gov. John Sununu stating affirmatively that former Sen. Rick Santorum is a “Republican Obama.” Sununu made the statement during a conference call before the Illinois primary, which was won decisively by former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.
Here’s a video I shot a few weeks ago of Gov. Jay Nixon answering a question about a proposal that would raise sales taxes around the St. Louis region to pay for, among other things, enhancements to the St. Louis Arch grounds.
And here is snippets of U.S. Rep. Ron Paul’s rally on Saturday at Lindenwood University in St. Charles.
Here’s a video of GOP Presidential candidate Ron Paul answering questions from reporters after a speech in St. Charles, Missouri.
Here’s some b-roll of First Lady Michelle Obama landing at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. She was in St. Louis to fundraise for her husband’s re-election campagin.
Even though he’s clashed with U.S. Rep. Lacy Clay before, St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley is endorsing the St. Louis Democrat’s bid against U.S. Rep. Russ Carnahan.
This video features U.S. Rep. Russ Carnahan, D-St. Louis City, answering questions about his decision to primary U.S. Rep. Lacy Clay, D-St. Louis City.
